As part of the Algeria Startup Challenge 2026 Learning & Immersion Days, the four winning startups of the GreenTech Challenge took part in an immersion day at BNP Paribas El Djazaïr.

The immersion gave the startups an opportunity to present their solutions, test their value propositions against the realities of a major corporate organization, and gain a deeper understanding of the business, financial, marketing, ESG, and operational challenges shaping the transformation of the banking sector today.

The day focused on several key areas for the startups: Business & Finance, helping them better understand business models, growth trajectories, and financing needs; Marketing, Sustainability & ESG, exploring positioning, sustainability, and value creation; as well as Corporate & Coverage and Retail & Business Banking, allowing them to deepen their understanding of the banking sector and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Beyond the discussions, this immersion provided the four GreenTech Challenge winning startups with a practical environment to challenge their solutions, refine their understanding of corporate needs, and identify new development opportunities.

This experience fully reflects the approach behind the Learning & Immersion Days, which aims to bring startups closer to key economic players and foster direct dialogue around innovation, transformation, and sustainability.

Through these immersion experiences, entrepreneurs can gain a better understanding of the operational realities of businesses, adapt their solutions to market needs, and strengthen their ability to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of industries and territories.
