Understanding how a company operates from the inside gives entrepreneurs a clearer perspective on industry challenges and helps them identify concrete opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

This approach continued with Day 4 of the Learning & Immersion Days, organized as part of the 8th edition of the Algeria Startup Challenge 2026, with an industry-focused immersion at FADERCO in Sétif, partner of the Smart Care Challenge.

An Immersion at the Intersection of Innovation and Industry

Welcomed at FADERCO’s headquarters, the winning startups began the day with an introduction to the company and a roundtable discussion with its teams.

The session gave entrepreneurs the opportunity to discover FADERCO’s strategic vision and learn more about the ambitions of its WellTech Center.

Discussions also focused on the Connected Distribution and Smart Industry business case, providing startups with a concrete perspective on the challenges and opportunities emerging from the transformation of industrial and commercial models.

Discovering Industry from the Inside

The immersion continued with a visit to the S02 production site, where the startups were introduced to FADERCO’s production processes and gained insights into the company’s approach to sustainability and integration capacity.

The visit offered entrepreneurs a closer look at the operational realities of an established industrial player and a better understanding of the requirements involved in developing and transforming industrial activities.

Creating Connections Between Startups and Industry

The day concluded with a pitching session featuring the winning startups, presented directly to the FADERCO team.

This provided entrepreneurs with an opportunity to showcase their solutions, receive direct feedback from industry professionals, and explore potential areas for collaboration with an established market player.

Beyond discovering the industry, the session created a space where entrepreneurial innovation could meet industrial expertise, allowing startups to test their solutions against real-world needs and challenges.

Learning from the Field

The Learning & Immersion Days aim to give startups a practical understanding of their ecosystem by connecting them directly with the players shaping different sectors of the economy.

This fourth day at FADERCO perfectly reflects this approach: learning from the field, understanding business challenges, and identifying opportunities for collaboration.

A sincere thank you to FADERCO for welcoming our entrepreneurs and for the quality of the discussions, as well as to Elkhansaa M., Rachâa Ziani, Houssam Belabbas, Hani Soudani, and Fatima Zohra Anza Hafsa for their time, insights, and contribution throughout the immersion.

Stay tuned for the upcoming Learning & Immersion Days sessions!
