As part of the Learning & Immersion Days of the 8th edition of the Algeria Startup Challenge 2026, our Insurtech startups continued their journey into the insurance ecosystem through a dedicated immersion day at CASH Assurances.

The visit gave entrepreneurs the opportunity to better understand the activities, challenges, and priorities of an established player in the insurance sector, while gaining a closer look at the realities and needs faced by companies on the ground.

Understanding Industry Needs

A key objective of the immersion was to bring startups closer to real business challenges and help them identify concrete needs and opportunities for innovation within the sector.

The discussions provided an opportunity to explore complementarities between the solutions developed by the startups and the needs of CASH Assurances, with the aim of identifying potential areas for collaboration.

Direct Exchanges with CASH Assurances Teams

The session continued with a dedicated networking and exchange session, giving startups the opportunity to engage directly with CASH Assurances teams and gain a better understanding of the sector’s operational challenges.

The day also featured a pitch session, during which the startups presented their solutions to the CASH Assurances teams, creating a direct dialogue around their value propositions and potential applications.

From Immersion to Collaboration

Beyond discovering the insurance sector, this immersion reflects the core objective of the Learning & Immersion Days: giving startups the opportunity to confront their solutions with real market needs, understand the expectations of established players, and identify meaningful opportunities for collaboration.
